See it in action

"Whose turn is it to clean the bathroom?"

Nobody knows. Everyone thinks they did it last time. The bathroom hasn't been cleaned in three weeks. Sound familiar? Living with roommates is great until you have to figure out who does what.

How Chores helps roommates

Replace sticky notes and group chat arguments with an app that tracks everything objectively. Chores doesn't pick favorites - it just shows who did what.

Fair Contribution Tracking

Charts that show exactly who's been doing what. No more "I cleaned the kitchen three times this week" arguments when the data says otherwise. (Premium feature)

Rotating Schedules

Set up recurring chores on whatever schedule works. Weekly bathroom rotation? Every 3 days trash duty? The app handles the scheduling so you don't have to remember.

Gentle Reminders

Push notifications remind everyone when chores are due. The app does the nagging so you don't have to be "that roommate."

Sound like your place?

Moving in with friends?

Great way to save on rent, terrible way to discover your best friend's dish philosophy is "let them soak." Set expectations early with Chores before the resentment builds.

Living with strangers?

Craigslist roommate situations are awkward enough without having to ask someone you barely know to clean the bathroom. Let the app be the bad guy.

Too many roommates to coordinate?

House of 4+? Good luck with the group chat approach. Chores keeps everything organized in one place where everyone can see what needs doing.

One person always does everything?

Contribution tracking shows exactly who's pulling their weight. Sometimes people just need to see the data to realize they've been slacking.

Questions roommates ask

Is Chores free?
The app is free to download and use for basic chore tracking. Premium features like contribution charts and rewards require a subscription - but honestly, split among roommates it's cheaper than a coffee.
How do I get my roommates to use it?
Send them an invite link or show them the QR code. If they resist, gently remind them of the current bathroom situation. That usually works.
What if a roommate moves out?
You can remove people from your household anytime. When the new roommate moves in, just send them an invite.
What about Android users?
Currently iOS only - Android is on the roadmap. In the meantime, the Android roommate can at least see what needs doing when you show them your phone.
Can we set up a chore rotation?
Yes! Create recurring chores on any schedule you want. Weekly bathroom duty that rotates? Chores has you covered.

Chores also works great for couples and families.
